I photograph these gatherings as they unfold, focusing less on lined-up poses and more on anticipation, surprise, and the way people look at one another. From children leaning over the gift table to grandparents watching from the edge of the crowd, I move through the celebration gently, keeping the camera ready while everyone else stays in the moment.

You receive a visual timeline of the day: details of decorations, candids of guests, the key moments like the candle blow and first slice, and the small in-between expressions that often matter most. These images work just as well in a simple framed print as in a keepsake album that can come out again at the next milestone.
